Redesigned and rebuilt the Helix Motorsports website to shift focus from e-commerce to service — pairing a refreshed brand identity with a custom WordPress build.
Helix Motorsports is a Philadelphia-based performance shop specializing in service, maintenance, and upgrades for MINI and BMW vehicles. They reached out for a full website redesign to shift their focus from e-commerce to showcasing their core repair and performance services.
Working from their existing logo and visual identity, I led a complete brand refresh — creating an updated color palette, ADA-compliant typography, and an optimized logo that better represented their hands-on, high-performance ethos.
From there, I designed and built a custom WordPress theme using the latest block-based tools, giving the Helix team full ownership and easy control over every piece of content. The finished site features:
- A dynamic photo gallery to showcase shop work and builds
- A custom “Boneyard” system for one-off products and project parts
- A spam-resistant contact form and dynamic staff section
- Licensed graphics and custom-coded design elements
The result is a unique, modern, and easy-to-manage WordPress site that positions Helix Motorsports as a go-to destination for MINI and BMW performance tuning in the region — with the flexibility to grow as their business evolves.
