Payment, Deposits & Refund Policy
Website projects typically begin with a paid kickoff or project deposit. This payment reserves time in my project schedule and initiates planning, discovery, and preparation work.
Because time is allocated in advance and work begins immediately, kickoff fees and project deposits are generally non-refundable once the process has started, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Payment schedules, milestones, and deliverables are always clearly outlined before any project work begins.
Website Project Guarantee
Website development projects include a three-year workmanship guarantee covering issues related to the original build.
This guarantee applies to:
- Structural or technical issues directly related to the original development work
This guarantee does not cover:
- Third-party plugin, theme, or platform updates
- Hosting environment changes
- Content edits or design changes
- Modifications made by anyone other than me
If an issue related to the original build arises during the guarantee period, I will address it promptly at no additional cost.
Hosting & Uptime
Hosting services include a guaranteed uptime commitment, subject to routine maintenance, force majeure events, and outages caused by third-party infrastructure providers.
Full hosting terms, service levels, and included features are provided as part of the selected hosting plan documentation.
Website Support & Service Hours
Website support services are offered as prepaid or subscription-based hours, depending on the selected plan.
Support hours:
- Are used for ongoing updates, fixes, improvements, and consulting
- May roll over or expire based on the terms of the selected plan
- Do not represent a refundable balance once purchased
